  3. Shortcut fixer removes desktop shortcuts Version 5.138.0.164, running Win 10

    Version 5.138.0.164 removes my desktop shortcuts to my network drive when running Shortcuts Fixer. Have had to reinstate these manually and un-check the box to include shortcuts fixer in my 1-click maintenance. Only does this on Win 10. Please fix...

  7. Does Wipe Free Space do a read verify pass?

    I read the product description but did not find the information. If Wipe Free Space does 3 write passes of data patterns, is each write pass then followed by a read pass to verify the write pass completed correctly?

    The status should be displayed in the progress report, such as:
    Write pass 1: writing zeros
    Read pass 1: verifying
    Pass 1 complete at [date, time], elapsed time [hh:mm:ss]
    Write pass 2: writing ones
    Read pass 2: verifying
    Pass 2 complete at [date, time], elapsed time [hh:mm:ss]
    Write pass 3: writing random data

  8. Update Installer

    Please have your update installer "ask" for language preference before unpacking. I have to manually delete all but one EVERY time you put out an update, which seems to be about twice a week...

    I'm sure that it can be done, as it's already being done by so many other software providers. I don't need to store every know language on Earth on my hard drive, just to run your program.

    In the System Information Report, under the sub-heading "Video Model Supported", it repeats multiple times every screen size (in pixels). I attach a TXT file of the inappropriate display report.
    Under subheading "Monitor Properties", there is no information at all.

  18. Default Option for "Wipe Free Space"

    The default option for Wipe Free Space appears to be "select all available drives". I think this is very dangerous especially when you have more drives than are visible in the normal popup window. It is just too easy to end up erasing a drive/s which is/are not visible in the popup window. I would prefer that the default action was to "uncheck all drives" or at least have the option in the settings of selecting "no drives or all drives".

  19. Auto-renewal

    Question. How do I turn off auto-renewal? I reviewed all of the emails and documentation I have and do not see anywhere where it says the software is on auto-renewal (else, I would not have purchased the software). I also looked in the software and see no option to turn off auto-renewal.
