Glary Utilities have long been one of my 'first' go-to utilities when T/Sing OS based systems, especially W8.0, W8.1, & W10. Microsoft loaded its 'Safe' mode on the back end of these OS's and if you cannot get to your desktop, what do you do? How do you even start to T/S? (Trash the device!?). If you can get to your desktop and that's about it, what do you do? Run Glary; even enabling the "registry" analysis.......& repair because Glary can handle the functionality it espouses and whatever it finds wrong with the OS/Browser(s), trust it implicitly to fix those problems. Restart and you should be good to go. You will HAVE TO READ THE BOOK for using the Safe mode with these OS's but Glary is a must have tool in your tool box for keeping your S/W up and running.
