MyCommerce Digital River will not confirm my address
Endless attempts to upgrade to Pro. As a journalist I wanted to see what was on offer but never known it was not possible to verify my address. It has not changed in 15 years. Requested you to resolve this several times and all you do is contact MyCommerce Digital River who just give repetitive meaningless information about how to order. This is not acceptable. It wastes my time.
What will you do to make sure users can order using PayPal and not be forced to use a credit card. I will not use a credit card with a chinese based payments processor like Digital River because they do not have high enough security encryption of user data and are unable or unwilling to answer my questions about data security. Your data is also stored in the US which means that all your information is automatically passed to intelligence services without your consent.
Why should users have to put up with this kind of thing.
Furthermore as another user has asked why autorenew without requesting permission before each renewal? Autorenew is not looked upon favourably by UK consumer authorities. You should have told that user that you are in fact now sending out at least one email to allow the user to cancel before the subscription is taken (if I understand your new T&Cs) correctly.

A customer can either contact Customer Service by email to
cancel the automatic renewal service or he/she can do it online by
following these steps:
1. Go to https://cs.mycommerce.com/
2. Enter the E-Mail Address associated with the order
3. Then enter the Order Number – or – the Last 5 Digits of Credit Card
Number, Expiration Date and Transaction Date
4. Click “Submit”
5. Click on the Order ID
6. Click on the Product Name
7. Under Subscription Information, click “cancel subscription”
Or contact us to cancel the auto renewal service.
We will keep improving our service.

Hello, I've been having similar problems too but not quite the same, my product hasn't been delivered to be for over a month and I did all the steps you recommended but some things you wrote didn't work out as well as for me. Please help me to cancel my pro on MyCommerce because I've just had enough of the lateness and not doing their job right.

Agree with R Newton that PayPal is extremely difficult to work with. Recently renewed some data with them and because of a defective key on my laptop my last name was changed to We2 instead of my actual last name, Weiss.
PayPal insisted on receiving a copy of identification such as a driver's license and has neither changed to erroneous information or responded to follow up. They are not someone I am comfortable giving a link to my bank.
I do recommend that anyone concerned about PayPal establish an account using a prepaid credit/debit card and that one should load only sufficient amounts of money to satisfy immediate needs.
