  1. Automatic updates?

    Does Glary PRO perform automatic updates or NOT? According to your description, Glary PRO is to "Download and update automatically". Since upgrading, I constantly receive popups prompting me to click to obtain the newest version. I have sent three emails to support that either repeat directions to allow automatic checks or give information that shows the email was misread.

      If you want to update Glary Utilities automatically, please check up the box in the settings from menu. Choose the option before “Automatically download updates in the future”. But only the Pro users can use the feature. It can help you auto-download the software, and you need to install it by yourself.

      It's very strange, quickserach works fine on my desktop PC windows10,
      but On my Macbookpro windows10,it could not find a file that really exists in my d: drive, I don't kown why

            • problem issue in duplicate files finder selector

              when i use duplicate files finder utility it shows list of all files but when i click on check intelligent only single file selected . i think old version selects all files intelligently single file

                  When you download and install Glary Utilities, please stop running any antivirus software for a monent.

                  Please try to uninstall the current version on your pc. Please make sure all the files under “C:\Program Files\Glary Utilities 5” are deleted. Then restart the PC.

                  Then download and install a new copy of our program(not the previous one saved on your pc). That may solve this problem.

                  • Add a scan for unnecessary app data and program data files in disk cleanup.

                    I want disk cleanup to remove app data and program data from uninstalled programs.

                      • Regarding File Shredder

                        The file shredder seems like cannot handle and delete folders inside folders or empty folders. It will keep giving errors no matter what I did.
                        It would be a mandatory to enable direct file shredder in the right click context menu when right click on recycle bin since most of the times users directly delete the files by throwing them into recycle bin instead.

                            The cache disk cleaning rate is very slow...used to be faster. I am not subscribing to the paid version for that reason. I don't need to run disk clean when I'm working on other things. I can do it at a break. But these cleans can take an hour or more as they are set now!

                            Why not have 2 versions or two speeds.: 1 as fast as possible, even if it takes all the computing power. Get the job done in 5 minutes or so.
